It's been far too long since I have last talked about my 8 octave angel. And I am not talking about Geoff Tate. Adam Lambertis back into the world of rock news lately after the drummer of Queen, Roger Taylor, talked about the possibility of a collaboration. Listen to what Roger said about working with Adam:
"We did play in the finale of 'American Idol' with the two final guys, one of whom is . . . Adam," he said. "He didn't actually win, he only got 49 million votes, I think, but he is one of the most phenomenal singers and I think at some point in the future we’d love to — Brian [May, guitar] and I — would like to do something with him maybe. It may happen — we might do something with him in the future. He is phenomenally talented. He has one of the greatest voices I've ever heard."
Well, damn. Isn't that a huge compliment if ya ever heard one! Here is a clip of Adam singing with Queen to refresh the ol' memory:
New month of metal approaching. So, what better way to begin the month of metal than talking about American Idol. Adam Lambert- he isnt metal, but he does rock and he certainly could falsetto himself into the hearts of bands like Rush and Deep Purple. A little update on our boy Adam is that he is denying rumors of him being asked to front a new version of Queen. As much as I love Adam this is probably a good thing.
