Whats goin on with Ozzy & Zakk?

Zakk Wylde is as confused as the rest of us!  No one seems to know if he's on the new album or off it.   This was all started a little while back when Ozzy mentioned casually in an interview with Classic Rock Magazine that he may switch out Zakk with John 5 (Manson/Rob Zombie).  Well,after that Zakk had a chit chat with 'the boss' and all seemed to be good.  

The drama is back on.  Ozzy continues to hint to everyone but Zakk, that a new guitarist is in the works.  Now Zakk is demanding Ozzy man up and let him know whats going on!   Seems like a fair enough request.

I see Zakk' point but at the same time I don't understand why he doesn't just 'man up and call' Ozzy instead of talking to some random radio dj.
