Lets take a moment to recognize the country & metal connection

I love any excuse to talk country music on this thing.  Well, today Mr. Rascist David Allan Coe turns the big 7-0.  For the most part he is famous for singing and writing a ton of country hits, but in the world of metal he made a splash with Rebel Meets Rebel.  The band name is almost tooo perfect, since it was the joining of the guys from Pantera (Rex, Vinnie and Dime) with David Allan Coe for some real southern friend metal.  Good stuff.
