They've been around a while, but seeing as they hardly play in the USA, and they are on tour now I figured it would be a good time to recognize them as the band of the week. Enjoy!

New Band of the Week - Destroyer 666!!
Usually I am not a fan of Australian bands (or Australians in general), but Destroyer 666 seem like okay guys and the music kicks ass. Black metal- check. Thrash- check! Death? Speed? check, check! What's not to like?
OH, and don't get them confused with that annoying hardcore band of a similar name (Destruction 666)
