Band Of The Week - Altar Of Plagues!!

How to describe Altar Of Plagues?  They're sort of ambient, transcendental black metal.  I could certainly see a fan of Wolves In The Throne Room liking them.  It's black metal, for sure, but it's also cleaner, slower and more melodic.    Surprisingly enough, they arent from Seattle (their music would fit right in with the Southern Lord bands), but from Ireland.  Who know those little leprechauns ahd it in them?
