NY Concert Listings!

The big news has got to be the American Carnage tour, which consists of Slayer, Megadeth, and Testament.  This tour is better than the big 4 tour because Testament is better than Anthrax, but the loss of Metallica is so huge that the tour isnt really special anymore.  Don't get me wrong, these are 3 of my favorite bands, but packages like this come around pretty often, so it's not mindblowing.  The only benefit to losing Metallica is that the tickets might be cheaper.  It seems like the venues are just as massive, so that's lame.

Also some new dates in March from the Dillinger Escape Plan and Killswitch Engage.  

As for April, we have 2 new shows on April 8th- Finntroll and Moonsorrow at the Gramercy and then 10 blocks away Mayhem is playing Irving Plaza.  Stupid!  These Scandinavian bands needs to schedule a bit more carefully.  Not a wise move to split their audience in half.

Oh, and Seventh Void are playin' next Thursday!
