Heavy Metal Tree Huggers

Today is the big "Earth Hour" thingamajig.  In a night shell, everyone across the globe is asked to turn of those lights for just one dinky hour to see that the impact such a large scale 'shut off' would do.  Such major landmark as the Eiffel Tower, The Empire State Building and my apartment all participated in the event.  Anyway, what does this have to do with metal?  Basically nothing, but if we are looking to stretch, I made up a playlist for today of some metal and rock bands that are known environmentalists.   Whether is doin' their duty to trees of the world in their own time, or preching through lyrics, these bands all support the whales.  (sidenote: in the playlist 'GZR' is what Geezer Butler went by on his 1995 solo album, Plastic Planet.)
