THOUGHTS: Finntroll's Nifelvind is a good album, but it's safe for them. Aldaaron is somewhat interesting (think: Franch Black Metal), and Dark Tranquility is actually surprisingly good. I was never too much of a fan of theirs. Varg should not be confused with the Varg Vikernes. This is totally different.
My pick of the week comes out of left field- White Wizzard. They're throw-back, fist pumping in the air, guitar solo metal. It's a really fun album and you can tell they have a sense of humor.
