Band of the Week - Elf!

In light of the tragic passing of Ronnie James Dio, I honestly can't imagine having any other band as Band Of The Week other than one of his many projects.  I am going back to one of his earliest bands- Elf.  Elf were the least heavy of all Dio's bands, but his voice was just as strong and forceful on those early recordings as in his ones with Sabbath.  Elf were around from 1970-75 and were a blues based rock act.  Elf is also the perfect name for a Dio-fronted band.  Check them out and reminisce on the early days of Dio.
