Daily Dio comes to an end today after 1 week
Well, the one week tribute to Dio comes to a sad end today, so I figured I would show some of his more recent work.
Ronnie's last public appearance was at the Golden Gods Awards in LA back in early April where he deservedly won the award for Best Vocalist. Here's a shitty copy of his acceptance speech.
And although Dio did many interviews that Dio, supposedly this was the last one of the night, making it his final interview. So sad, you can tell he is looking older than he did just back in November, but he's spirits and attitude are still the same. Then on a personal note, the last time I saw Ronnie live was back in August at WaMu Theater in Madison Square Garden with Coheed & Cambria opening up. The whole band sounded amazing and Ronnie was no different. This is the title track off of Bible Black- the last of his recordings.
