In case you don't understand my obsession with Mike Portnoy...
Here is some badass video off of the "drum cam" that was set up on Avenged Sevenfold's most recent USA tour. This particular video is from the September 22nd show in Sacramento. Watch as Mike Portnoy kills it behind the kit for "Nightmare".

I love almost everything that Mike Portnoy does and think that while it sucks he chose to move on from Dream Theater that it is cool as hell to be working with a band as popular as Avenged Sevenfold is. He loves the material and is a perfect fit for their no longer with us drummer. Maybe his touring cycle with the band will find a new live DVD being released. The question remains, will he be asked to or is even interested in full time membership.
