New Band of the Week - Pretty Maids!!

Remember those Danish fuckers, Pretty Maids?  No, you don't.  But I do.  They actually were a pretty solid band band in the 80s- full of power in a Thin Lizzy way, smooth solos in a Whitesnake-with-John-Sykes way, and heavy in a Saxon way.  They held their own over in their native Denmark, but never made much of a splash in the USA.  Sure, there are a few diehards fans sprinkled here and there, but for the most part they can be filed in the same catalog as The Rods or Love/Hate.

In honor of their upcoming album, Pandemonium, which will be released June 8th in the US of A, I would like to take a moment to give them the nod they deserve.  Enjoy!
