New Band Of The Week - Buzzov•en!

I just saw sludge metal legends EYEHATEGOD on Saturday night and it got me thinking about another influential sludge band that came out just a little after them - Buzzov•en.   Buzzov•en came to the scene in North Carolina in '89 and sang slow sludgey songs about drugs, deppression, violence, hate and other such delightful subjects.  Frontman Kirk Fisher, known as Reverend Dirtkicker, left in '99 and went on to make country music, and this resulted in the whole band breaking up.  Well all this has changed and Kirk is now back and the band is together again.  In January they released the full length album Violence From The Vault and you can expect a tour to be announced any day now.  Check them out:
