Tuesday's Metal Releases

All That Remains - For We are Many (Razor & Tie)
Angra - Aqua (Steam Hammer US)
Arson Anthem - Insecurity Notoriety (Housecore Records)
Dimmu Borgir - Abrahadabra (Nuclear Blast USA)
Grave Digger - The Clans Will Rise Again (Napalm Records)
Hail Of Bullets - On Divine Winds (Metal Blade)
Nekromantix - Curse Of The Coffin (Crazy Love Records)
Trapt - No Apologies (Eleven Seven Music [EMI])
Voltaire - Spooky Songs for Creepy Kids (Projekt Records)

THOUGHTS:
All That Remains have never been my cup of tea, but they are fairly solid live, so there isn't much to hate them for.  Although I have only heard a few tracks off this album, my view as of now is: 'This record doesn't push any limits for them, but will leave current fans satisfied.'
Voltaire's album is aptly titled.  It really is a record for the youth out there who love Halloween and Hot Topic.  For the shear un-pretentiousness in this, its pretty cute.
Nekromatix delivers some more down home rock a billy, and Arson Anthem's 'fresh look on hardcore' is quite enjoyable.

Pick Of The Week:
Hail Of Bullets.  It's surprisingly good, but still nothing to brag home about.
Pick Of The Weak:
Dimmu Borgir!  Sorry guys.
Branching out...?
Antony and the Johnsons - Swanlight (Secretly Canadian).   Could not be further from metal, but SHIT this record is great.
