Another birthday update

So Michael Monroe played the Highline Ballroom this past Sunday, and although I havent posted pictures or a review yet.... I will!  I have a bunch  of reviews to still post, but seeing as this blog makes me the same amount of profit as my lemonade stands at age 8 did, I can't be bothered to stay flawlessly up to date.
In the meantime, here is some awesome video of Monroe playing two Hanoi Rocks songs, Tragedy and Malibu Beach Nightmare.  He nailed it... great show!

HIM tours the USA again.... finally.

It's been a long time since Finland's HIM graced us with their presence. And in case you didnt realize, they actually sell more records in the USA than any band in Finland's history.  Since I am a huge fan of Hanoi Rocks and Finntroll I am sad to hear they are out selling them..... but I am not surprised. The ones I love arent as much of a teenie bopper band, and when it comes to sales that is KEY.   The band I think could legitemitely compete with HIM's fame is probably Children of Bodom, but since they are straight up metal, inevitablely it won't sell as much.

Anyway, HIM has got this new album out Screamworks: Love In Theory And Practice which will be released in the USA on February 9. The following tour is to support that album (duh).

Hanoi Rock releases some new video

Hanoi Rocks may have split up, but there is still some new footage from the band that is being released to the 27 people in Finland and myself who care.  "Buried Alive" is the name for the new dvd, which features a ton of song live from their final tour.  Heres a teaser below:
