More metalheads like theater than you woulda thunk

Last night I camped out in the rain from 5-9am for a chance to win tickets to the Tony Awards.  Although I don't know if I won them or not yet (tell ya tomorrow, I know you are dying to know) I will make this blog fabulous broadway themed.  Jesus Christ Superstar has had a slew of headbangers in their cast.  Ian Gillan (the singer of Deep Purple and sometimes Sabbath, in case you are metal retarded) was the original Jesus on the Broadway soundtrack.  Jesus was later played on broadway by Jeff Fenholt who claimed to be a Sabbath singer for about a year.  Nothing was recorded with him and Iommi never confirmed it, so Fenholt can go fuck himself sing about Jesus.
