Band Of The Week - Psyopus!!

I love supporting NY metal, and here is a good 'un.  Psyopus are a band from Rochester who play.... interesting metal.  I would say avant garde, others may say experimental, and then I've heard them also (incorrectly) labeled as grindcore.  Any way you look at it, their playing is insanely technical and FAST.  Guitarist Christopher Arp had to send in video of him playing guitar live to prove to guitar and amp companies that he was actually playing as fast as he was in order to get endorsement deals.  Of course, this is the exact reason that people sometimes consider Psyopus just to be noise or grindcore band.  But trust me this, listen carefully and you will hear the details!
